Job Description

The Senior Account Executive (AE) plays a dual role of individual contributor and leading others. The Sr. AE is responsible for developing new physician referral relationships and maintaining existing relationships in local markets for assigned centers and supervisory responsibilities for other small teams of AEs within their markets. The Senior AE is responsible for maximizing physician satisfaction, increasing patient access, and cultivating business partnerships with local corporations, charities, and other Solis Mammography team members.

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Present the superiority and value of Solis Mammography's breast diagnostic services and other diagnostic modalities as required by territory to physicians and physician office staff in a position to refer their patients for screening and diagnostic exams;
  • Maintain frequent visibility and cultivate strong relationships with key accounts to ensure same store growth month-to-month;
  • Develop an annual written sales plan that will detail tactics and strategies for meeting and/or exceeding stated referral volume goals that is updated quarterly for assigned centers;
  • Lead small team of AEs to develop annual written sales plan that will detail tactics and strategies for meeting and/or exceeding stated referral volume goals and review quarterly with each assigned AE;
  • Provide leadership for 3-6 AE team members in regional markets, as assigned;
  • Create an environment around producing results in a positive and ethical manner;
  • Provide effective management oversight designed to increase accountability and recognize success;
  • Business development and implementation of new areas for potential sales growth within AE markets of responsibility in smaller territories (e.g. direct to employer programs which enhance sales and D2C outreach);
  • Assist with coaching and training AEs on selling skills to reach the referring physician community
  • With assistance participate in interviewing, hiring, training, performance management, accountability measurement, and metrics reporting for small team of AEs;
  • Work closely with Regional Operations Directors, and Center Directors to ensure optimal support and efficiency throughout assigned region/market;
  • Work with VP of Sales and Regional Sales Directors to maximize opportunities for capturing, reporting, and measuring appropriate sales statistics (referring physician trends, regional performance, AE metrics, budget, etc.);
  • Ensure sales promotional activities are in compliance with Solis policy and procedure
  • Work to increase the direct to consumer awareness of Solis Mammography services through participation in educational opportunities, local health fairs, trade association meetings, and community events in support of the overall Solis Mammography brand strategy;
  • Identify positive and negative volume trends within region/individual markets and provide frequent coaching to AEs to consistently improve performance;
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative duties associated with position;

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years preferred for proven successful healthcare or healthcare related sales experience;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively present clinical information on a professional level to individuals or groups, VP of Sales and Hospital Executives;
  • Solid sales and marketing communications experience to include input in the development of marketing presentations and materials
  • Proven leadership skills including problem-solving, interpersonal and team building skills
  • Experience utilizing sales tracking software, MS Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations. Salesforce experience preferred
  • Domestic travel time is required, varying by territory assigned (estimate 30 – 50%)
  • Knowledge and experience with healthcare services, insurance contracting, and billing practices
  • Experience or knowledge of radiology, diagnostic imaging, and/or women’s diagnostic industry is preferred
  • Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and team members, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
  • Retail healthcare experience a plus, with a demonstrated understanding of compliance with regards to enticement, anti-kickback and other referral-based guidelines unique to the healthcare environment.
  • Documented track record of consistently exceeding annual sales targets;
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans designed to exceed sales volume growth objectives

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends on an as needed basis for community marketing events;
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality, integrity and professionalism;
  • Demonstrated outstanding service skills to both internal and external customers;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel;
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred in Salesforce Customer Relations Management (CRM) system
  • Previous experience in an entrepreneurial or high growth company is preferred.
