Manage and coordinate material control functions to ensure effective purchasing, receiving, storage, retrieval, delivery, and materials accountability systems to support Solis locations.


  • Develop and implement strategies to manage Solis’ supply chain requirements
  • Maintain interface with vendors and service representatives to ensure that materials and requirements meet established standards and that applicable policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed; survey markets for latest trends in price, availability, delivery, and quality
  • Organize and manage Solis’ materials planning, reclamation and warehousing activities
  • Develop strategies to manage the overall procurement and use of materials or services including GPO agreements and tier optimization.
  • Maintain a delivery system that includes best practices for actual usage, measurements, and all supporting processes and transactions.
  • Prepare and coordinate the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends, and appropriate recommendations or conclusions.
  • Ensure compliance with established practices, implement new policies and keep employees abreast of current changes and standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with GPO’s, vendors, and develop competitive pricing programs and alternatives for centers.
  • Develop direct contracts with Solis vendors where appropriate volume dictates.
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise formulary for all facilities.
  • Work with centers and vendors in training initiatives on ordering to help drive compliance and seek out lower cost alternatives that are clinically acceptable.
  • Procure capital equipment bids and then forward review and consideration.
  • Work with various corporate departments on interdepartmental issues on special projects to resolve issues.
  • Communicate and work daily with centers to produce an effective response in the inventory needs.
  • Take the lead in procuring office equipment quotes when necessary.


Job Requirements


  • 5+ years’ experience in the procurement of materials/equipment/supplies.
  • Development, review, and negotiation of contracts in the Healthcare industry are required.
  • Vendor management experience required
  • Interest in market dynamics along with a strong business acumen
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
  • Solid judgment along with decision-making skills
  • Multi-site experience preferred
  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
