Job Description

This person is responsible for assisting with the requirements of front office operations, billing and customer service or recovery.

RESULTS MEASURED BY THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Understanding of complete revenue cycle to include, billing, charge capture and collections
  • Provide assistance with daily export of billing file and monthly audits of accession numbers
  • Provide assistance between billing service and Solis centers in regards to physician dictation, billing disputes and customer service recovery
  • Assist in audits of claims and EOBs to ensure accurate billing
  • Understanding of managed care contracts and government billing guidelines
  • Assist in physician and facility credentialing as needed
  • Understanding of the registration and insurance verification processes and requirements;
  • Input of demographic and insurance information in to our RIS (Radiology Information System) as well as other interfaces as required;
  • Participate in front office training to stay abreast of front office policy and procedures;
  • Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group basis to pertinent individuals;
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

 

 

Job Requirements

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma;
  • One or more years of customer service experience; health care registration preferred;
  • Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills;
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions;
  • Ability to enter data quickly and accurately;
  • Excellent oral communication skills;
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time;
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite: knowledge of eRAD software preferred;
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
